CPL Ground Classes
Master the Skies: Core Subjects for Your CPL
Overview :
To obtain your Commercial Pilot License (CPL) in India, you must clear the DGCA written examinations, which are held four times a year in MCQ format. If you miss a scheduled exam, monthly on-demand attempts are also available for your convenience.
The WPC License exam, on the other hand, is organized every alternate month.
At WFTA, we go beyond teaching — we ensure you truly master the fundamentals of aviation. Here are the primary subjects you’ll cover:
Air Navigation
Aviation Meteorology
Air Regulation
Technical General & Technical Specific
RTR (Radio Telephony Restricted)
These subjects build a strong foundation, giving you a complete understanding of aircraft operations so you can fly with skill and confidence. Our training is aligned with both DGCA and WPC standards to guarantee you’re fully exam-ready.
Why choose us?
Our biggest strength lies in our instructors — seasoned airline pilots who bring real-world expertise into the classroom. You’ll be learning directly from professionals who know the path to success in aviation.

Ready to Earn Your Wings?
Before you begin your journey toward becoming a commercial pilot, here are the requirements you need to meet:
Age: You can start training once you’re 17 years old. However, the minimum age to obtain a CPL is 18.
Educational Qualification: You must have cleared your 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board (approved by the Council of Boards of Secondary Education).
English Proficiency: Strong command over English is a must—you should be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in the language.
